I am a 24-year-old writer and currently reside in Massachusetts. I’ve been writing stories and poetry as far back as I can remember. That also means I have a very over-active imagination. I’ve been told numerous times that I need to stop living with my head in the clouds, but what fun would that be?
I gather a lot of inspiration from the world around me. I observe people and at times am able to create some great characters from complete strangers. My nephew provides good ideas too (like when I explained how people wrap their hands around coffee mugs to warm them. He pulled up his shirt sleeve and placed his arm over the top of the cup and said “Auntie, my arm is cold. I’m warming it up.”)
The music I listen to usually fits whatever writing project I’m working on. Sometimes it will be Godsmack and other times you’ll hear my speakers blasting Yanni. It all depends on the mood of my story (and myself).
